After manual Remediation of de duplication tasks, records not getting deleted

Hello friends,

I have run de-duplication task on software CI , since we have lot of tasks to run , we did automation to run all these. after execution for some tasks it successfully merged/deleted the CI, but for some tasks it only merged the duplicate CIs , but did not delete. Still i can see the records. but merging is done. Your comments please

Both has same Identification rules

There is not enough details to debug the issue but one thing I would suggest is to look if there are any business rules that are preventing deletion of those particular CI's. Try deleting it using a glide record and you might face the issue.

Recently I've been noticing that if I need to move a lot of values from the CI to be deleted to the Master CI it will copy the values but not merge, then creates a new dup task and I can merge the next day.  These have been computers and servers, but I haven't checked the business rules to see if there's something that might be blocking it.
