AI Bots - How is Your Org Tracking This?

As we start to stand up Co-Pilot bots, the business has decided they want to start tracking these as CIs.  I'm curious to know how and where other organizations are tracking this data.   In cmdb_ci_appl_ai_application?  As a service offering?  Something else?

 

I would love know what others are doing, as I'm unable to find much in the way of guidance.

This question opens the door to a broader discussion about how to tackle AI governance, with the gold standard option being to deploy AI Control Tower.

 

With the AICT framework, you model each copilot as an AI system/use case, and then realize it in the CMDB using the AI-specific CI classes.

 

Under this framework, cmdb_ci_function_ai is typically used for externally developed and hosted AI CIs, while the class you referred to, cmdb_ci_appl_ai_application, is used for internally developed and hosted AI items.
