We are running AWS Service Graph Connector on a master account with Aggregator; Initially, the region properties were set to us-east-1, however we eventually realized that SGC fail to discovers cloud Cis from the rest of the region if only us-east-1 were mentioned.
Therefore, we have updated the properties to include various other region that we expect to receive CI from.
With the region properties updated, we are able to successfully discovers the CIs that we are expecting. Recently when we ran a diagnostic test on the connecter, we realized that the diagnostic report gave us Hardware API Access test - FAILED. I checked that the data processing is still running and we are still getting the CIs from the connector. However, it is not possible if we were to setup a new connection(on another ServiceNow instance) for this master account.
