Best Practices for CI Owners to Remediate CMDB Health Exceptions

Hi everyone,

 

I'm looking to gather insights and validate best practices around CMDB Health remediation in ServiceNow, specifically from the perspective of CI owners.

 

What is the best approach to get CI owners to remediate their data?  We're unsure if it should be CMDB health tasks (seems to be tricky to get these tasks to assign to the owner) or utilise the Desired State features.

 

Currently we have a lot of missing "recommended" attributes and we want to find the best way to notify record owners to take action and update their CI. We can see the issues via the CMDB Health reports, however what were missing is something like getting a task to the owner to remediate.

 

Any recommendations from the community would be sincerely appreciated.
