Business Service Relations

Hi,

I have a use case where the customers asks for a structure as follows:

Software -> ERP Software -> SAP

So ERP Software would be in my view the Business Service and SAP the Business Service Offering. But how I fit the first level Software into it? Can or better should I relate a Business Service to a Business Service?

Best regards,

Frank

Hi @frankeck

Bringing software into a systematic structure does not automatically make it a business service or a service offering.

Please check the following document as a starting point for the topic: https://www.servicenow.com/content/dam/servicenow-assets/public/en-us/doc-type/success/quick-answer/...

Hi Maik,

thanks, this document and the basics I know, also it goes beyone Software. It's more about if I can model it in a way that a Business Service is grouped above in a parent, this would be Portfolio Management usually, but the customer don't have the licence.

Thanks,

Frank
