Hi All
We use the service graph connector for SCCM - which is fine and brings in what is required
but because we use a combination of home work through a VPN and on site netwrok connection when the data is polled by SCCM and then imported through the service graph connector over a time period a workstation can have multiples of network adaptors showing as attached to that device. and over the lifetime of that device it could have 100+ (example laptop has been in service since dev 2021 has 405 network adaptors
what is the best way to maintain that connection to the network adaptors?
obviously we dont want to delete any of the history but we also dont needs it perminently showing - we can change them to absent so they dont show but is there a good proven way to automatically set these - for example if they are not updated after a period of time or does this have its own pitfalls?
Network adaptors is just one example im looking at for maintaining the CMDB

We are experiencing a similar issue so keen to see what people recommend. We have 4.5 million NW adaptors in our CMDB currently (75% of our CIs) and started using Data Manager in Dev this week to archive any that were last_discovered >12 months ago. This has taken us down to 800k records so a massive reduction.
Now wondering if we can go further and reduce the threshold or if theres an alternative suggestion.
