Hello,

I would like to create a dashboard with different tabs for the Network services. For example a tab for switch, ip router, wireless access point and so on. In each tab I would to add completeness, compliance and correctness for each class in the tabs.  However I am unable to add the 3 for each class. Could you please help me ?

Thanks

So you set the rules against each class within the Hierarchy which will then be added to the 'CMDB Dashboard - CMDB View'.  You can restrict the rules only to show on this main dashboard only if you only set them against the specific classes.  You can then also set up 'CMDB groups' for each class or a workgroup or what ever group you want for the 'CMDB Dashboard - Group View'.  They are then restricted to only show the results for those groups you have created.   My group views I have set up to be split for Cloud, End user Devices, Handheld Devices, Network Gear etc and even split some of those between the different vendors who support the assets.  Hope this makes sense.

hi,

If I choose to go with CMDB groups, then in group view you can choose one view and not 4 for your Cloud, End User Devices, Handheld and Network, right? Do you have 4 different widgets for completeness for you desired classes? Is that possible

Thanks

The group view will only show for each group you have created - So if you create a group to show all 4 together then you can do that.  However if you are looking to show them all in the same graph but as separate bars then you would have to create these yourself as reports and widgets. Bear in mind though that any widget you create will be shown for all different Health Groups. You could create 1 group for all the classes you want to show and then create reports which break them down for you as separate bars.
