CMDB onboarding templates

Anyone have a great set of onboarding tools for CIs? We've got a large project going on here that has a lot of interconnected part and pieces and asking if anyone has developed an onboarding document (Excel or otherwise) that could be ingested by ServiceNow to populate a large initiative's worth of CIs up and down the class stack?

TL;DR:

To ensure the accuracy and up-to-date nature of your CMDB, load the data from the source using ITOM Visibility. This approach is necessary because you’ll need to frequently update the data. Automated intake and update processes are essential for maintaining a reliable CMDB. Additionally, deploying products in a specific domains, such as IT and e.g. Service Mapping, requires a well-implemented CMDB. For cross-domain products, a proper CMDB is crucial.

These are almost all business capabilities and would not be able to be "discovered" via ITOM. As one drills down into SaaS applications involved such as Salesforce or Workday, these might be able to be discovered.
