CMDB Task Approval

On a now learning instance, when a CMDB Task is created by a policy, it'll be assigned to System Administrator account (I left field Managed by group on CI empty). But when I apply on an official development instance, it's not assigned to System Administrator (with sufficient rights). Why is it so, how can a task be assigned to System Administrator if not set value for field Managed by group

Thanks and appreciate any clarification.

Hi @hieutnk

  • Configure the default assignment group inside the policy’s runtime attributes
  • Navigate to the policy runtime attributes table and verify that the designated "Run As" user has full administrative rights to capture unassigned error tasks.

Hi @Tanushree Maiti

I already set Run as field as System Administrator with full right admin. But when there's task, System Administrator is not in the approver list.
And I'm not clear how to Configure the default assignment group inside the policy’s runtime attributes. May you elaborate on this.

Thank you so much for you reply
