End User Computers at the Corporate level are imported manually as the PC is purchased. Once the PC is imaged and assigned to a user, automation tools are providing data to the CMDB. However, duplicate entries are being created. We need the IRE to match the manual data and be updated from the automated tools.

Hey @PankajT68703921
In your organization, what field on the PC makes it unique? Is it the serial number? The MAC Address?.. You will need to determine this and ensure that both the manual entered data AND the discovered data both contain this information. Once you do, you can setup the Identification rules accordingly to have the right fields. Out of the box, the serial number is configured to be a unique identifier for the Hardware table, so most likely you do not have matching values in this field. Here is the docs for creating an identification rule if you do need to edit yours: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/xanadu-servicenow-platform/page/product/configuration-management/...
One thing to keep in mind: sometimes folks will say that the Asset Tag is what they use to make a device unique. The challenge is though that this information is often not discoverable by a discovery agent, which means discovery will never be able to match up to the manually created CI. In this instance, try and make sure you pick data that is both discoverable and being entered manually.
Hope this helps!
