Computer CI's getting Deleted

i am running a discovery to discover some of the computers in our environment, for some the host is not reachable if i run the quick discovery on the ip address, previously after running the discovery the Computer ci it got deleted, how can i troubleshoot or restrict the Computer ci's to be deleted in Servicenow

Hi @Nishant16 ,
Like you don't want to delete the CI, then create Before, Delete Business rule and abort the action.

Hi @Nishant16 ,
Navigate to System Diagnostics > Script Tracer and Click Start Tracer and run quick discovery.
It shows all the scripts that are executing at the backend.

Locate the relevant reconciliation rule and disable the "Allow CI Deletion" option.
Ensure the identification and reconciliation rules are properly configured to avoid unintentional CI deletion and Use Discovery Logs and CI Identification logs for detailed error analysis.
This will prevent accidental deletion and help with troubleshooting unreachable hosts.
