Conditionally make fields read-only

I have a requirement to make specific fields on the cmdb editable to a specific group based on the value of other fields. So if some fields don’t populate or if we have some CI that are manually added so we want to allow a specific group to update those fields. So we want to limit who can make certain updates. Is this possible to do without an ACL?

You can do via BR or ACL both ways. I am not dev so cant give the code but these 2 ways are there.
