What is the standard process for creating new CI  for Data centre class.

Hi  

 

Creating a new CI class isn’t a good option unless you explore whether there’s an existing class you can reuse for this purpose. If not, try installing a CI class model plugin, and if you find any class that helps store data more efficiently, take a look there.

Thanks for response its not about create new class its  ask is how to create new CI for Data centre class(It already exist in system).

Hi @ayush_g ,

 

Creating new CI for Data center class manually  - it is not at all recommended but if you choose to proceed, first select  Data centre class from the CI hierarchy in the CI Class Manager.

navigate to the corresponding table, create a new record, and manually enter the required details.

 

You can set up Cloud discovery ( recommended) in order to add new CI for Data center class.
