We have been following CSDM to build our CMDB, and lately we used CSDM 3 but also now following up with CSDM 5.
In the past, we had built our structure as follow
1.Top level, Business Application, for example Business Application A, then below it we would add Application Services
2. For example Application Service X, and then lower level
3. Application, where would could have Application - Dev, Application-UAT, Application-Prod
But with upgrading to Zurich, I noticed that Application Service table is now labelled as Service Instance, which would then invalidate what we did previously, can you confirm? Because now it looks like we would have : Business Application > Application - Dev (service instance), Application - UAT (service instance) etc
what would be the place for Application in this case?
In the attachment , I am showing how we built data in the past following csdm 3 . when i check the graph for CSDM5, i dont see Applications anymore, i see Business Application to Service Instance, where does the Applications lay in this case?
