Description field is getting overriden from Discovery which is manually entered

Hi team,

In WIndows Server class, we have added values in description field. But next day its getting removed from discovery. It should not be removed if value is already there. Please help how to restrict the override.

Firstly you need to remove the reconciliation rules for the field "description" and after doing that, the discovery will not update the description until and unless that field is empty.

You can get a doubt: if I don't put any reconciliation rules, if the description field is empty, what will happen?

Answer: If the field is empty, the discovery  will update the value from which source it is getting it (if we dont have reconciliation rules also)
