We tried to disable the creation of CIs in Hyper-V server through Windows pattern, by making a Insert CI step inactive and through disable the Hyper-V server pattern.
This makes whole windows pattern failure, it is unable to explore.
Is there a approach to disable creation of Hyper-V server without any breakage to the windows servers.?
Please advise.!!

Hi,
For this, I'd recommend creating a 'pre post processing' script that runs Pre-sensor. In the script you can then remove the data you do not wish IRE to process.
Are you wanting to prevent the creation of just Hyper-V server records, or Hyper-V instances, Hyper-V Networks, and Hyper-V Resource Pools?
