Facing issue while installng mid server in my personal laptop.

Hi,

Let me explain the steps I followed until now.

1. Downloaded Zip file

2.Copied that file into C drive(not sure this required or not)

3.Created mid server user

4.In Config file , given the instance details and mid server user details

5.Right clicking on 'start' file and 'Run as administrator'.

After 5th step, I am facing issue. The prompt has to stay for while and showing ' Waiting to start'. But I am not getting this. Screen is not staying for 2 second also.

Please assist.

Thanks all, above issue is resolved. But mid server is down .I restarted mid server , but it didn't help. What might be the issue?

Recently, I heard that the MID Server doesn’t work in a PDI environment. I haven’t tested it myself, but I was told you need to use another platform like Azure to get it running. Since it’s a PDI, I doubt it will come online again, as there’s no official support available.

 Thanks all. It's working now. There was restriction in my laptop. Because of that Java file was not downloaded while downloading the mid server. Now I removed that restriction. 

All set.
