How is data populated in Serial Number[cmdb_serial_number]

Hi,

We are having SCCM integration for importing the Computer and Server CI class in CMDB. I am seeing that the  Serial Number[cmdb_serial_number] table is getting populated automatically by SCCM. I am not able to find any transform map or business rule for populating the Serial Number table, could some one please help understand how this table is getting populated.
