How to add an alert message when user tries to delete a related list records using the delete option

Hi All,

 

I am trying to add a pop up message when user tries to delete a related list records using the delete icon and if they want to add a new one they have delete the old one first before adding a new record.

 

Any suggestion Please.

I am not a coder, but I am worried that this UI action is used as global, and it can create issue all places where delete is used from list drop down.
