How to add new attribute to CI Class and make it visible?

Dear Community,

I am supposed to create a new attribute 'Shared Service' ('u_shared_service') for a CI Class, I followed the below article and created it on the custom 'u_cmdb_ci_central_service_form', till here I am okay:

How to Create new attribute in CMDB

But I have two questions:

1) I am also supposed to add a text 'hint' to this attribute, but I do not see the option for it anywhere?? Not even after checking the Configure layout for the form?

2) How do I make this attribute visible on the form, like this?

Thank you for any advice...

Hi @Linda6

For 1st requirment you can follow below steps. I will show you for incident table, follow the same for this field as well

Go to the sys_dictionary of the Incident number.

Click on Labels related list

Open row (if more than 1) for the table you wish to update hint

Remove the hint or replace with other text

For 2nd requirment:

Go to the configuration- form layout from form view and then drag and drop the field from available to selected slush bucket.
