How to exclude items in CI and should not be visible on Change tickets?

Hi guys!

 

Apologies as I am not well verse in CMDB and CI so I need help.

Some CI's that are not suppose to be visible are still showing under the "AFFECTED CI's" tab in our Change tickets.

We have a System Property in place to filter those CI but I'm not sure why it doesn't work. Here's the system property:

Go to the CI Class Manager and select any class in the hierarchy.  You will see a button to select whether that class is a Principal Class.  Once you select this for one class it should automatically activate the filter.  You'll just need to select it for every individual class that you wish to show.
