We're trying to use CMDB Query Builder to populate a CMDB Group with servers by filtering on the key/value tag data related to the VMware Virtual Machine Instance. The result returns both the Server along with the VMware Virtual Machine Instance record. Is there a way to filter the result to return only the Server record?

If your CMDB key/value exists only on the VMware instance table, then it’s unlikely you’ll be able to filter and return only Server records—unless ServiceNow allows ACLs to be configured directly in the Query Builder tables.

Hi,
Could you share how you've configured your query? For example, I've created the following and the CMDB Group only contains the VMWare instances
VMWare VM instance attached to Key Value
Key Value filtered to a specific key
CMDB query result table returns one row per combination
