Hi Folks!!
My client has requested to set up a permanent filter on Lookup List for Product Line when I select Manufacturer or Vendor to show only manufacturer or vendor from the core_company table, which is not possible as of today by me.
To give a little background, core_company has both Manufacturers and Vendors and can be easily filtered when selected.
However, when I go to Product Line, chose the condition 'Manufacturer is' and click on lookup using list, I will have to setup the filter again for manufacturer is true, otherwise the list shows 14k records.
I can easily setup a view and then do it, but what if I have to do it for Vendor as well? How can I setup permanent filter based on the Vendor or Manufacturer selected in Condition Builder?

Hi Dustin,
I want to use reference qualifier on list view not form view and supposedly, there is no way I can use it on list view while building up a condition, or is it?

Hi
If you are looking to set a filter on list view, couple of options are listed below:
1) Create and save a filter on the module or List you want. I am showing you to set and save a filter which you can re use it as you need.
Now you have the option to share this filter with a user or group or for everyone as shown below:
Once saved you can click on the Ham Burger and then just select the new filter you just saved and that should display you the list of records you need as shown below:
2nd Option:
Create two individual modules and add your condition so when you click on the module you do not need to have any additional click and it will load you the results as you need.
Navigate to Module as shown below:
Hope this helps. Please mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.
