Cisco EOX API provides four crucial pieces of information that our network teams wish to track for all Cisco network devices in our CMDB:
- Last Date of Software Maintenance Release
- Last Date of Security Vulnerability Support
- Last Date of Service Contract Renewal
- Last Date of Sale
Currently, there are no out-of-the-box fields to store these four pieces of information. Hence, I was wondering about suggestion on whether I should create custom date fields to fulfill this requirement? If so, which table would you recommend adding these fields to – the parent CMDB_CI class or to a network-specific subclass.
Looking forward to your valuable insights!

Hi @danesh ,
There are no out-of-the-box fields in ServiceNow CMDB to store Cisco EOX dates (like End-of-Sale, End-of-Support, etc.), so we can create custom fields under cmdb_ci_network not to cmdb_ci as the information we are trying to store is for network related data.
