How to use attested_date as the time series in a KPI instead of sys_created_on in CMDB?

Hi Everyone,

I'm working on a KPI in Performance Analytics (Yokohama version) that pulls data from the CMDB. By default, the KPI uses sys_created_on as the time series, but I need to use a custom field called attested_date instead.

----------

And to configure the Date Field in the Indicator Form. Advance view is not visible in the Indicator Form(Yokohama version).

----

In the attached screenshot, by default, it is taking sys_created_on instead of attested_date

Hi @PANDU THAMINENI ,

As per my understanding Why this happens:

* In PA, by default, the date field used to build the time series is sys_created_on.
* To change this to attested_date, you normally do it in:
* The Indicator (KPI) → Source tab → Advanced view → Date field
* But: in Yokohama, the “Advanced view” toggle in the Indicator form sometimes doesn’t appear by default for users who:
* Don’t have the right role
* Or it’s hidden by UI policy / form layout

Solution steps:

Step 1: Make sure you have the required role
To see Advanced view, you need:
* pa_admin role
(having admin alone sometimes doesn’t reveal this option)
Tip: Go to your user → add pa_admin role.

Step 2: Enable Advanced view in Indicator form
Once you have pa_admin:
1. Open your Indicator record (pa_indicator table).
2. At the top right → click the three dots menu or “...” (More options).
3. Select Advanced view.
If this doesn’t appear:
* Check if a UI Policy or Form layout is hiding it.
* You can use the Form Designer to see if date_field is on the form.

Step 3: Configure the Date Field
After switching to Advanced view:
* Find the Date field property.
* Change from sys_created_on → to attested_date.

Step 4: Re-collect data
After changing the date field:
* You need to collect data again to populate historical scores with the correct date field.
* Go to your data collector job, and run it manually (or wait for next scheduled run).

Tip if Advanced view is still missing:

If you still can’t see Advanced view:
* Go to the table pa_indicator directly → open the record
* In the URL, replace .do with .form?sysparm_view=advanced
e.g.,

/pa_indicator.do?sys_id=xxxx&sysparm_view=advanced
* Or: personalize the form and drag the date_field field onto your form layout.
