If the identifier entry in the identification rule of cmbd is of lookup type. Where does the search on table data come from?

Hello Yan feng,
it is came from that specific table which is mentioned in the search on table field for example. If search on table is Network adaptor it will search the data from that table for the mentioned fields.

The best way to view IRE rules is through the class manager. If we walk through the identification rules for hardware you can see that the first rule is a lookup on serial number. Clicking into this rule shows the Serial Number table as the Search On Table for this lookup.
Likewise on the form the Search on Table is shown as Serial Number:
