In the event of a change of group for a child incident

In the event of a change of group for a child incident following a change of group for a parent incident, the person in charge of resolving the child incident is cleared.

Hi @rampage 
You might have noticed this because Assignment group and Assigned To are interrelated. You can check the Dictionary of Assigned To field ( Check section- Dependent Field).
Due to this dependency, if the person in charge of resolving the child is not the member of changed group, then the Assigned To is cleared and made to empty.
