Recently ServiceNow has changed how they calculate CMDB health score, surprisingly there was no major announcement of this major change and we found about this after we upgraded to Xanadu.
Now rather than calculating Success percentage ServiceNow calculates failure percentage in CMDB Health Scorecards table. I am trying to understand how CMDB Workspace converts this to success percentage in new CMDB Health Dashboard,
In this respect, I want to understand what is the function of Inverse field in CMDB Health Metric table. Does it control whether CMDB Health Scorecard will be failure or success percentage.
I am also bit surprised that what forced ServiceNow to start calculating failure percentage than success percentage because most of customers are already using success percentage as CMDB Health Score. It is causing unnecessary report issues.

@Community Alums You can switch to old scoring if you want by upgrading the workspace app to the 7.4 version.
If you want to understand how the new scoring works its described in this https://www.servicenow.com/community/cmdb-articles/scoring-in-new-cmdb-health-dashboard/ta-p/3092895?_ga=2.155722363.1106220496.1739828487-421683296.1725893132. Inverse field has no role on how the scores gets computed.
