Investigate Business Applications as downstream of Business Services

why the Business Applications are downstream of a Business Service. To support CSDM framework, it should be upstream at minimum. Should the downstream entry be a Business or Application Service?

Not really sure about what you're asking? Application service is downstream from a business application where business service is downstream from the business capability according to CSDM 4.0:
