Hi,

I would like to understand that in system we have Reconciliation rule mentioned, for 3 Data sources. 

Priority 1- Intune

Priority 2- Servicenow

Priority 3- SCCM

If the serial number information is coming from Intune, then SCCM should not overide the Serial number, also, same with 'discovery source' field on CI record. Is the understanding correct?

Hi @sntech ,

Yes, the understanding regarding the Serial Number is correct. If the Serial Number is coming from Intune (Priority 1), SCCM should not override it.

For Discovery Source, the behavior is different by design. It gets updated based on the last source from which the CI record was updated/discovered, so it can change to SCCM even if Intune has higher priority.
