Hi @Devika ,
In ServiceNow IRE Reconciliation Rules, Derived refers to attributes or values that are not taken directly from a field but are instead calculated, normalized, or transformed before comparison. For example, a derived value could be a normalized IP address or a concatenation like First Name + Last Name. This ensures consistent and accurate evaluation across multiple data sources during reconciliation.
You can also refer to the official documentation here for more details:

Thanks & Regards,
Muhammad Iftikhar

@Devika ServiceNow's Integrated Risk Environment (IRE), reconciliation rules are used to manage and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
The derived elements in a reconciliation rule typically include:
Identification of Data Sources: Determining which data sources are authoritative for specific attributes or configuration items (CIs). This helps in prioritizing data from the most reliable sources.
Data Normalization: Standardizing data formats and values to ensure consistency across different sources. This involves transforming data into a common format that can be easily compared and reconciled.
Conflict Resolution: Establishing rules to resolve conflicts when data from different sources disagrees. This may involve setting priorities or using specific logic to determine which data should be retained.
Attribute Mapping: Defining how data attributes from various sources map to the attributes in the CMDB. This ensures that data is correctly integrated and aligned with the existing schema.
Data Validation: Implementing checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of the data being reconciled. This helps ensure that the CMDB contains reliable information.
Update and Merge Logic: Specifying how updates to the CMDB should be handled, including when and how data should be merged or overwritten based on reconciliation rules.
These elements help maintain the integrity and reliability of the CMDB, ensuring that it provides accurate and up-to-date information for IT service management and decision-making processes.
