Is the CIS Discovery certification worth getting?

I worked as a CMDB Admin for 3 years and just got layed off.

I have been studying for the CIS Discovery certification and wondering if it is worth getting.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Currently, all on-demand training is free in Now Learning. So, if you're looking to learn, I would recommend going ahead with it. Discovery is always in demand, and you can also consider going for the full suite.

Hi @Steven Barber ,

I don't think that anyone can answer this besides yourself. E.g. if your looking for a job in consulting, they are very much looking at certifications. Are you looking at a job in the private sector, then it really doesn't matter. So basic, what is it that you would like to achieve by taking this certification? What is your end-goal and in general, what is it that you would love to work with?
