Limit the devices that intune SGC pulls back

We are working to setup Intune SGC to pull in devices and software. We noticed that Apple\Androids are pulling in. We are not currently managing phones so we do not need those CIs pulled in. We don't want to limit all mobile devices as some of the conference room systems run an android system.

Hi @SeanGalbraith,

The Intune Service Graph Connector (SGC) imports the devices returned by Microsoft Intune. There isn't an OOTB option to exclude only Apple/Android phones while retaining specific Android-based conference room devices.

  • Create a custom IntegrationHub ETL Map Source.

  • Filter records using an Intune attribute that distinguishes phones from conference room devices (for example, device type, management type, enrollment profile, ownership, or another device classification attribute).

  • Disable the OOTB Map Source instead of modifying it directly.

Before implementing the filter, verify which attributes are available from Intune so you can exclude only mobile phones without filtering out your Android conference room systems.
