We are replacing some of our MID Servers due to O/S becoming out of date.
When I setup my new MID Server, I will configure it with all the same parameters as the original server. The main issue I have is, how can I easily "migrate" IP ranges from MID Server A (the original instance that I am not ready to bring down yet) to MID Server B (the new server). I don't want to manually do this as some of my MID Servers have over 100 ranges associated. and I want both servers running at the same time so I can compare that all is working as expected before I bring down the old server.

Hi,
Are you refering to the Discovery IP ranges? Then they are connected to the discovery schedule not the MID server. Changing the MID server on the Discovery schedule will keep using the same ranges but with the new MID server.

Niklas

Hi @Julie Jehu
If you are talking about Discovery Schedule IP Ranges then @Niklas Peterson is correct and there will be no impact on the schedule.
If you are talking about the MID server IP ranges then in that case you have a UI Action to edit the IP ranges in the MID server. You can basically use the same IP ranges on the new MID server.
This edit action will create an entry in the "ecc_agent_ip_range_m2m" table.
