I would suggest to start with the following:

1. CMDB fundamentals Nowlearning course which also includes simulators to practice along with the course content related to CMDB:

2. CMDB starter stories on Nowcreate to understand examples of CMDB related requirements:

Apart from these, going through the 'Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Fundamentals' course on Nowlearning and all the CMDB & CSDM related documentation available on Nowcreate would be useful.
