Hi
Can someone explain the use case for the settings 'CI's' and 'IP's' on Port Probe configurations?
We are using the tls_ssl_certs Port Probe to populate the certificate management module. In use this will discover certificates that are hosted on CI's in our environment.
So what is the use case for having the 'IP' checkbox selected, if any? Would deselecting it (and for any probe that doesn't create a CI) make any difference to behaviours?
Thanks
Rich

Hi Sandeep,
To clarify my question;
Do port probes add IP addresses to cmdb_ci_ip_address table if found?
"Indicates whether this port probe is enabled or disabled for discovering IP addresses."
Thanks
