Service Graph Connector for SolarWinds - SSL Certificate "Untrusted" Error

I'm currently setting up the Service Graph Connector for SolarWinds to integrate SolarWinds data into ServiceNow CMDB. However, I'm encountering an error during the "Test the connection" step in the guided setup.


The connection test fails with the following error (Image attached)

I’ve verified the following:

  • The SSL certificate on the SolarWinds server is up-to-date.
  • The certificate is in DER format and has been uploaded to System Definition > Certificates in ServiceNow as Trust Store Cert type.
  • The connection is configured to use HTTPS with the correct hostname and port (17778).

Note: I do NOT have access to the machine the MID server is hosted on. 

 

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
