Hi All,

For Service Mapping, getting an below errors.

1. Failed to identify the CI Type of the process listening on port 443 on host 10.36.201.104. Please review the discovery log for further details.

How to resolve above error.

Thanks in advance,

Hey @ShantanuB ,

Did you find any solution for this?

Broadly speaking, it is impossible for this question to be answered with so little background - however - there are methods you can follow to identify why it failed and resolve it for yourself (which is far better than being told).

1. Check that the device you are discovering actually has something running on 443.

2. Check that you have enough credential access to get to said process.

3. Check that there is a process classifier for that process on the platform - there are three main possibilities - can't identify it (there's no classifier), identifies it as a generic application (falls under the generic classifier), properly identifies it (there's an application/process/tech specific classifier for that stack based upon an established pattern).

Once you work out which step of the above is failing, you can conclude your own next steps to resolve...
