SG-Crowdstrike data source is not pulling data after xanadu upgrade but there are no errors

Hi All,

 

We recently upgraded to Xanadu Patch 6 and post that SG-Crowdstrike is not pulling data from the source. there are no errors in the Import logs and connection & Credential aliases are not changed. Please help in finding the cause.

Hi @surajmesinane1 - Un-installing and Re-installing the Crowdstrike plugin resolved the issue. Also the latest SG plugin required some additional access from the Crowdstrike end. After doing the above 2 steps it was working

Do you know what additional access was needed on the Crowdstrike end? we are still seeing this issue and dont know what else to ask of our crowdstrike team

Hi @blanm ,

 

this is what we got from our crowdstrike team,

 

The older versions of the CrowdStrike SG connector did not interact with the Exposure Management APIs which was previously called Discover which is why we didnt have the permissions enabled

 

With the latest connector we had to provide read only access to Discovery for it to connect and establish communication.
