Could the ITOM experts provide us best approach for service maps in the event of site failovers, site swaps, and disaster recovery scenarios. Currently, we see both the DR standby and the Operational CIs in the CMDB, however we would see a CI that has a DR Standby status showing up on the service map, unless it was already there, then it would have a yellow triangle. The map is comprised of details captured from running processes and their listening ports. If the CI is not operational at the time, Horizontal discovery would pick up the running process looking for, or the port those processes are listening on. Does this mean is it necessary to have two service maps for two infrastructure(in our scenario for two data centers),so that we swap active/inactive between site swaps, failovers and DRs?
