SNPI - Import CMDB Data - Failed

I got this task result that prevents me from validating the task.

Did you correctly import 6 CloudDimensions (CD) servers?

I have searched the community search to see if I can try something different but mainly  the Field Maps Related List does not seem to be seen at the right timing.  Whenever I save the record, and remain on the form at first it showed up. However when I tried to do it from the very beginning it flickered and did not show up. I must have done something wrong.

I wonder if there is way I can start this module SNPI - Import CMDB Data from scratch. If I repeat it it said the lable name exists so needs to save it differently and even when I tried it no luck.

This is more difficult than previous task and I would need your help on this.

Thanks.

Jihyung Kim

@jihyungkim In the first screen you can just click 'Cancel' instead of 'OK'. When you press OK, it's expecting you to create an index on the target table (cmdb_ci_service). Which is not the part of the course and you might learn this at a later point.

I would suggest click Cancel and go ahead with the training.

Application as SNPI should be fine, as you are doing this whole process in a scoped SNPI application.

You are good to go !

@Vijaya_Mnpram Ok I see what you mean. I have gone thru it with Cancel button and tried to go forward and validate the task at the end; however, it did not work unfortunately.

Since the error message said, "Did you correctly import 6 CloudDimensions (CD) servers?"
I must not have done it correctly but it is difficult to troubleshoot it except for trying the lab all over from the beginning.

What do you think the possibility I was not doing it right the most with this error message?

Thanks.

@jihyungkim  Can you check in the cmdb_ci_server.list table to check all the servers listed are imported?

Mostly, there might be something not imported there.

Here are the list of cmdb_ci_server.list and it said still running but looks like it is the error.

When I run the transform maps, I have many available maps listed on the left handside. Therefore, I can't be sure I am adding the latest maps to transform.

Is there any way I can clean up previous maps and start from the fresh?

@jihyungkim  why are you ending up in cleaning at each step? You can go through a Youtube video on how to import data (https://youtu.be/083iGr2JBvE?si=COL9U3pQbFQsHsm2) and then try to do your lab.

You can return your instance and claim a new one, to start from the beginning.
