I've installed and configured the SolarWinds SGC and am currently ingesting data daily into our instance.
One thing I've noticed is that I'm not pulling in any of our VOIP Phones or Printers that we have on the network.
I've reviewed the import sets and it doesn't look like the data is there, unless I'm looking at the wrong import sets - assumed these would both fall into Hardware.
I guess I have a couple questions:
1. Are these assets which the SolarWinds SGC should/can ingest into ServiceNow?
2. Am I looking at the wrong import sets or wrong table in ServiceNow?
3. Is this something that needs further configuring within SolarWinds?

Hi @Shivalika
Curious - do you have NPM and/or SAM set to true within the SolarWinds SGC Setup? I currently have them true but I know it will impact the API call.
Wondering if more configuring needs doing on the SolarWinds portal side.

Hello @MBarrott
yes we do have both of these set as TRUE. I had setup during setup of integration itself. Dont remember it exactly but some tests were failing and I had done this.
Refer the attached screenshot -

Hi,
ServiceNow does it's filtering within the SG-SolarWinds Hardware Data Stream action as part of the API call. It selectively returns data from the Orion.Nodes sql table.
If you're not seeing VOIP Phones or Printers, it's likely the current query is filtering them from the API response. You may need to work with your SolarWinds administrator to understand where that data lives.
