vCenter discovery create empty record in VMWare table

Hi All,

Since last month, vCenter discovery has created records in the VMWare table with empty records. It created the record with VM Which are new additions into vCenter, with a few empty records where all the fields are blank.

Currently we are using "yokohama-12-18-2024__patch7-hotfix2b-10-21-2025" version. This issue started since one month.

I don't think it isa vCenter access issue, because it created actual added VMs as well. Is there any bug or issue in this patch7?

Please, if anyone has face similar issue.

Thanks

@balaji_prusty1 Do you have the CMDB 360 installed/ configured. If yes, then you can go to those empty CI's and check was there any data in it and vCenter updated after those VM's are retired. What is the Operational status/install status of those empty records.

Then check the identification rules. Those should have allowed them initially create the records and later the vCenter is updating them back to empty.

I see these behaviors in Cloud Resources created in Azure.
