What Are the Roles Needed for Compliance

I found that having the admin and security_admin role is not enough to manage Certification Filter. When I had just these roles, I did not get the "New" option. Now that I've added the certification, certification_admin and certification_filter_admin I am able to create a new certification filter. However, I cannot save it. It allows me to hit the Submit button but it doesn't save it or rather it does save it but it doesn't make it visible. The same apparently happens with Certification Templates.

Hi @Robert Campbell

Check the Documentation on Certification filters

"

Roles

In the base ServiceNow system, users with the certification_admin role have limited system rights and do not have access to the tables required for creating a filter.

When assigning compliance resources, make sure certification_admin users have any additional roles they need. For example, a user requires roles that grant access to the Company [core_company] table."

Also just FYI, as per ACL on cert_filter table,

ACL Operation on record           Role Required

Create                                               Certification_filter_admin

Wrire                                                  Certification_filter_admin

Delete                                                Certification_filter_admin,Admin

Read                                                   data_manager_admin

in ACL , you have already required permission.
