What is Dynamic CI Group

Please tell me what I can do by creating a Dynamic CI Group, I am confused as to the use of a Dynamic CI Group and how it differs from a CMDB Group.

The dynamic CI group was added do 2 basic things:

1. To be able to use CMDB groups as a CI in the model.

2. To be able to create a query that pertains to the CI's in the group, so it will be dynamic based on the query criteria

They are used predominately in defining Technical services per CSDM. Scott and I discuss this extensively in this video.

Change Management also leverages the Dynamic CI group heavily, The Change Management PM Greg Morrison and I cover this use case in this video here.
