Why in CMDB class and tables are same but not in other modules?

Why does ServiceNow CMDB use a model where classes and tables are the same, while other modules in ServiceNow treat them differently? Justify.

@hasthipooji Making the classes and table names same makes it easy for the CMDB admin/team to remember and get back to them easily. Also, for the normalizing the table naming standards across the industries and maintaining the table names similar to class definitely helps. 

Which module you meant where the model and table names are different?
