Benefiits of splitting Services to child tables (Technical Services, Business Services)

At the moment, we have all our Services in a base table. I was wondering what are the benefits of using dedicated tables - cmdb_ci_service_business, cmdb_ci_service_technical?

Any functionalities that would open up? Any clear drawbacks of keeping everything in the base table?

I advise to check the NowLearning courses related to CSDM (version 5.0 has recently been released) and CMDB to get a good understanding of the purpose of the tables.
