Business Service module under CSDM application shows wrong table, why?

We have a new Vancouver instance. As per CSDM, we have dedicated tables for Application, Business and Technical services.

Under CSDM, the Business service table points to cmdb_ci_service instead of cmdb_ci_service_business

Is ServiceNow wrongly configured or ServiceNow says we need to udpate it based on the docs?

Basically there are lots of customers out there which still leverage those "legacy" tables for their daily use. [cmdb_ci_service]

I found this useful overview here from Barry Kant.

Please give SN some time to shift even the default CSDM Application to the new table structures.

If you decide to go for the new extended tables which came with CSDM4 you need to either use newer products like the SPM Service Builder and the Digital Portfolio Management Plugin (DPM). With DPM you“ll get what you aspire to and its pointing to the right tables.

Both Applications ( SPM Service Builder & DPM Plugin ) using the new extended tables by default. The good thing is, youĀ“ve no additional licencing costs when installing DPM.
