I have read, re-read, looked up the answers, tried 50+ times and cannot get better than a 64% on the CSDM Foundations Quiz. Any tips? Any one willing to tell me which questions I'm getting wrong, so I can at least focus on certain areas? So frustrating. One question is "Are Business Applications Operational?" What does that mean.

Same here. I have taken this test several times and researched the information endlessly to only receive 64% every time. Which does not make any sense

I just tried what I think is a fairly safe answer for the question 'Which of the following domains contains the operational SDLC component?' I think the answer is 'Build', looking at the CSDM 4.0 image shows that it's in that domain. I tried that. Only answered that one question. Skipped to the end and got 0%.
Either the quiz is broken, I'm wrong, the CSDM diagram is misleading, or the question is misleading. Could be a combination of all of these, so I've raised a case with Now Learning to see if they can help out.
Would be nice if the quiz said why the answers were wrong though and which questions were answered incorrectly.

That's one of the questions that I was 99% certain I was answering correctly!! Thank you.

This page led me to believe that it was "Build" but simply trial and error (i.e. answering one question at a time as you did) gave me the answer as Manage Technical Services.
Then I did the same for 9 of the questions and managed to scrape a pass.
I didn't do the questions about how the business application and application tables differ simply because the white paper (CSDM 3.0) doesn't make it clear and I couldn't find anything about it anywhere on the net (plus, it's multiselect and so would have taken ages to confirm the exact combination of answers required).
I also left the question about "Which sell/consume personas are not CIs?" because it's multiselect and, again, the white paper doesn't mention it (and the question doesn't appear to make logical sense, or, at least, the answers don't).
But you can afford to drop 2 questions and get a pass.
I learned more about CSDM trying to work out the correct answers to the quiz than I did in the hours and hours of videos that I had to sit through!!

I will comment that the key word here is "...OPERATIONAL SDLC component..."
Thus why it is in the Managed Technical Services. Have to keep the lifecycles in mind. SDLC and build components are absolutely in the Build domain. But it is not until these components are deployed/released that we consider them operational.
And even then one may think otherwise given we can deploy these components to non-production Managed Services. Don't let that trick you - it's still a deployed and operational data element
