Hello all,
There is an investment team in our company which uses Bloomberg Terminal to provide liquidity to the company and perform investments. Do we define Bloomberg Terminal as a Business Service or also as a Technical Service?
I think it only makes sense to define this as a Business service since the technical aspects of it is not supported by our company.
Thanks,
Ravish

Hi @Ravish Shetty ,
In my mind the Bloomberg Terminal is an application Service where you have the offerings like financial investments and liquidity. The business service itself is a grupping of different business service offerings. So basically, the application service is utilized for the offerings.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
Best regards

Thanks Anders. So, for a SaaS offering like Bloomberg Terminal, we do not define Technical Service Offerings I believe? We only create business service offerings like you suggested financial investments and liquidity.

I think your Business Service is what the user's see (what the company provides the users) with the offerings more specific scope/pricing/SLA details on what the company provides. .
With the SaaS nature, would your
Business Service: Investment Services, Liquidity Services
Business Service Offering: "Bloomberg Investment Services", "Bloomberg Investment Services Premier" (examples)
the Bloomberg terminal itself is the Business Application (it might be a platform host if there are multiple apps that run on it).
That Business Application uses various Application services
